Bu da basit bir ekleme olsada oynanışı oldukça etkiliyor.Doğru zamanda, doğru tasarlanmış bombayı kullanmakta ödül olarak %100 Senkranizasyonu getiriyor.

Oyunun içeriği önceki Assassin’s Creed oyunlarından çokta farklı değil. Ezio, bir kez daha kardeşlerine güvenliği ve zenginliği getirmek için liderliğe soyunacak.Kardeşlik üyeleri Avrupa’da yada başka yerlere göreve gönderilebilecek. Eski oyunda olduğu gibi elimizi havaya kaldırıp ince bir ıslık sesinden sonra düşmanımızın öldüğünü görmek hala en etkileyici özellik. Tapınakçı kontrol kulelerinin liderlerini öldürüp bölgeyi ele geçirebiliyorduk yeni oyunda ise onlarda aynı şeyi yapabilecek. Tapınakçılar ele geçirilen bölgeleri geri almak için saldırırken, Ezio’nun komutanlığındaki suikastçı ordusu ise onları durdurmaya çalışacak. Yeni eklenen bu sığınak savunması ise çok basit, iyi ve en önemlisi eğlenceli.Neyse ki, Ubisoft, zaman zaman sıkıcı hale gelen modern zaman suikastçılarını oynama zorunluluğu koymamış. Oyuncular, Ezio’yu oynarken Animus için gereken parçaları toplayarak Desmond’un önceki hayatından bazı bilgilerde öğrenebiliyor. Bu görevler ise oynanış olarak biraz farklı. Normalde TPS olan oyunun bölümü FPS olarak oynanıyor yani 3. şahıs olarak değil oyuncunun gözünden oynuyoruz. Her ne kadar eğlenceliden çok tuhaf(!) olsada yeni bir heyecan katmış.

Multiplayer için ise fazla söylenecek yok. Sunum, her oyuncu rekabete hazır hale getiriyor. Ne yazık ki, haritaların çoğu küçük olduğu için takım olarak oynanan bir mod için yeterli olmuyor ve genelde yanlız kurt oluyorsunuz. Karakterler, kukla gibi olsa da, oynanış fena değil. Tek oyunculu moda göre başarısız olsada denenebilecek bir yapım.

Crow damdan dama atlarken Spider-Man duvara tırmanırken, Superman uçarken, Carnage ve Venom ise şekilden şekle girerken hep imrendik. Bu tarz güçlere sahip olmak hayatı çok farklı bir hale getirirdi. Bir de oyun dünyasındaki müthiş güçleri olan süper kötüler yok mu? Onla bizi daha da sinir ediyordu. Biz kahramanlığımız, cesaretimiz ve hatırı sayılır bir cephanelikle o son bölüm yaratıklarıyla dövüşmek için ter dökerken. O yaratıklar kollarını bıçağa ve silaha dönüştürüp bizi 15-20 metre uzaklıktan öldürüyorlardı. Çok sinirlendik bu bölüm sonu yaratıklarına, özellikle virüs yiyip süper insan özelliklerine sahip olanlar daha da deli etti bizi. Yeri geldi küfür ettik, yeri geldi, pes edip oyunu bıraktık. Çok canımızı yaktı o yaratıklar. Ama oyun dünyasında bir şeyler değişti. Artık orta çağdan kalma doğruluk yolunda savaşan saf kahramanlar değiliz. Bir oyun rolleri değiştirdi. Artık madalyonun öteki yüzündeyiz. Prototype adlı oyun kişileri, yaratıcı bir şekilde harmanlayıp bize oyun dünyasının farklı yönlerini tanıştırıyor. Çünkü artık, düşmanlara kan kusturan yaratık biziz. Radical Entertainment ve Activision ortaklığıyla ortaya çıkan Prototype ilke önce yayınladıkları ilginç ekran görüntüleri ve pek bir şey anlatmayan videolarla dikkat çekti. Biraz farklı bir reklam kampanyası yürüten dağıtıcı Activision bu oyun için çok iddialı konuşuyordu. Oyunun tam bir devrim olacağını ve oynayanların unutamayacağı anlar geçireceğini söylemişlerdi. Dürüst olmak gerekirse dedikleri bir nebze doğru olmuş. Prototype konusunu öğrendin mi tüm gizemi ortadan kalkan ve yüze 50 etkileyiciliğini kaybeden bir oyun. Popüler bir örnek vermek gerekirse Lost gibi. Klasik bir "Bruce Willis aslında ölüymüş" aslında ölüymüş sendromu yaşatmak istemiyorum. O yüzden bu sefer hikayeyi uzun uzun anlatamayacağım. Prototype'ın hikayesi biraz Resident Evil, biraz X-Files biraz da Hulk çizgi romanlarının karışımı olmuş. Yapımcı firma daha önce zaten aksiyonlarıyla göz dolduran iki tane Hulk oyunu yapmıştı. Zamanlarına göre iyi oyunlardı. O yüzden bu Hulk sosu beklenmedik bir şey değil. Oyundaki ana karakterimizin adı Alex Mercer ya da ordunun onu aradığı adıyla Zeus. Hangisini beğenirseniz onu kullanın artık. Kendisi şimdiye kadar yaratılmış en müthiş silahlardan birisi. Bunun nedeni zaten, birçok karakterin birleşimi olması. Daha önce oyun dünyasında, süper güçlü karakter çok gördük. Ama Alex Mercer onlardan çok daha fazlası. Oyun bizi akıl almaz gizli bir devlet komplosunun içine sokuyor. Tamam klişe ama hala akıl almaz….

Herşey 1969 yılında İdoha'nın Hope kasabasında başladı. Adının tam zıttı bir şekilde bu şehirde tüm umutları öldürülecek gizli bir deney yapıldı. Yıllardır devletle çalışan GENTEK şirketi ve Blackwatch özel ordusu bu kabada yaratıkları tehlikeli bir genetik virüsü denediler. Virüs insanların genlerini mutasyona uğratıp onları birer akılsız zombi canavar karışımı yaratıklara çeviriyordu. Hope Idoha kontrolden çıkmıştı virüs herkesi dönüştürürken tek kişi bundan kurtuldu. Elizabeth Green adlı bu genç hipi kız başına geleceklerden habersizdi. Virüse tamamıyla direnmişti. Vücudunda hiçbir değişiklik yoktu. Genleri ise virüsü kabul edip onlarla ortak yaşam oluşturmuştu. Green dışında kontrolden çıkan Hope kasabası gizli bir operasyon sonucu Nükleer bombayla haritadan silindi. Devler bu gizli operasyonu ört pas etti ancak Blacklight adı verilen virüs yaşamaya devam etti. GENTEK'te çalışan birçok bilim adamı gibi Alex Mercer virüsle ilgili araştırmalar yapıyordu. Oyunun içinde zamanla öğreneceğimiz nedenlerden dolayı, Mercer virüsden etkilendi ve Zeus kod adlı müthiş silah haline geldi…
